Fido & Felix brand Pork Lamb Blend is made right here in Saskatchewan using Saskatchewan raised pork and pasture raised, grass fed Saskatchewan sheep and lambs. All of the meats used in the production of our products are food grade and fit for human consumption.
 
Pork is considered a red meat and is high in protein.  It is a good source of vitamins and minerals such as phosphorus, zinc, potassium, and selenium as well as creatine, taurine and glutathione. You might be surprised to find that pork is an abundant source of B vitamins and is richer in thiamine ( vitamin B1) than other red meats such as beef and lamb. Thiamine contributes to the maintenance and prevention of disease in the nervous system, brain, muscles, heart, stomach and intestines.
 
Lamb and sheep meat is high in protein and is an abundant source of CLA, Omega 3, B12, selenium, B3, zinc, phosphorus and iron.
